The songs speak jazz and the setting is Nordic. The musical framework is open and surprises blend with the familiar. The music is lyrical and inviting but contains both sorrow and joy beneath the surface.
The band likes to play 'ordinary' shows, church concerts, premiers and reception, as well as school concerts. Additionally, the band frequently performs with children's, youth, and adult choirs, partakes in theatre, dance and musical shows, and likes to experiment with both music and concepts.
Lisbeth Iversen is a pianist, organist, composer, choir, and big band leader. She teaches at the Music Institute at the academy in Aarhus, has released teaching material for piano, and used to play in Klüvers Big Band and smaller jazz groups.
Lars Ole Gotfredsen, bass player from the academy in Aarhus, has performed in many different bands including Klüvers Big Band. He teaches music at Peter Sabroe educational training.
Henrik Nielsen, drums and percussion, was trained at the academy in Aalborg, teaches music, and plays in several bands across different genres.
