He grew up in Northern Denmark (Frederikshavn), where he began his musical journey. In recent years, he lived in the Netherlands. Kasper Lang Kvartet play music written and arranged by the bandleader. The music is original, thoughtful, and characterised by Kasper Lang's knack for lyrical melodies and his Scandinavian roots. - My focus has always been that music has to be understandable and relatable. My music has always consisted of melodies that are singable yet sophisticated. According to him, music should still be able to surprise or challenge the listener.
