Ballistic and juicy free jazz. Kresten Osgood's music skill is not limited by anything. He has been described as a musical octopus that can be found in numerous jazz and rock acts as a musician and collaborator. He has played with most trendsetting Danish jazz musicians and has quite a few records to his name, both as a solo artist and a sideman. Kresten Osgood Trio has existed for a meagre four years and, apart from the drummer, consists of pianist Anders Filipsen and saxophonist Ned Ferm, who is known from Nikolaj Nørlund, The Sandmen, The Firebirds, and Anderskov Accident. The trio plays a round of ballistic jazz, where hearts and brains are set free and music runs the show. It's juicy free jazz with good communication between the three musicians. They sense and utilise tension. Their music is never noisy and hollow. Every note has a meaning during its moment.
