Solid, classic jazz

Jazz Vegaz is a seasoned team with a unique sound. The musicians have been part of the vibrant Aarhus jazz scene for many years both as solo artists and in bands. There has rarely been as much musical experience gathered in one place as when Jazz Vegaz performs.

They formed in order to play a brilliant charity concert for Aarhus Jazzklub in 2015. The concept became a hit as the members supplement each other perfectly and unfold their individual qualities with skill, charm, and respect for the unit with a sound that resembles the original American swing style.

As dedicated jazz musicians, they have also been active in creating and developing the Danish jazz scene, especially in Aarhus.

The band's guest soloist is the internationally renowned pianist Søren Kristiansen, recipient of the Ben Webster Award and The Danish Jazz Award.
