16 strings to strum - and listen to 

The two Danish star jazz guitarists Søren Bo Addemos and Jens Christian Kwella get together for a unique collaboration with Peter Friis.

The two guitarists have often performed as a duo and will now be expanding their instrumentation with a double bass.

The trio will explore the opportunities that present themselves when playing with 16 strings instead of twelve, incorporating expression and impressions from the electric guitar’s many possibilities. 

The repertoire will consist of original compositions and new arrangements of tunes written by other people. The two guitarists have played jazz standards together for more than 30 years, so there will probably be a few of those as well.
