Trio starts a street party

Since it is Friday night, Kwella has assembled a trio that will get a street party going.

The trio loves groove, swing, and nerve, and values good ensemble, interaction, and the unpredictable.

Their repertoire is a mix of hard-swinging jazz standards and original, groovy tunes.

The three musicians are known from a long line of leading bands and have all released several CDs. Kwella has released six CDs and has received great review, e.g.:

He has previously been named as one of the mainland’s leading guitarists and has been compared to the likes of John Scofield, Kenny Burrel, and Herb Ellis.

Jens Christian Kwella works as an associate professor of guitar at the Royal Academy of Music, Aarhus / Aalborg and regularly performs in Scandinavia, Italy, and South Africa.
