Watch jazz in the cinema

Towards the end of Aarhus Jazz Festival 2018, you can nurse you Sunday hangover with jazz movies in Øst for Paradis. The cinema devotes the entire day, Sunday 22 July, to jazz experiences on the big screen, presenting musical, visual, and different jazz films.

Ticket for this evening´s movie includes a cocktail, served during the film.

Let's Get Lost (1998)
Star photographer Bruce Weber's Oscar-nominated documentary about legendary jazz trumpet player and singer Chet Baker.

The film follows him from his youth, where he was called The James Dean of Jazz, to his older days where he struggled with serious addiction.

The movie uses clips from Italian B-movies, rare concert footage, and sincere conversations with Baker, musicians, friends, aggressive ex-wives, and his children on what turned out to be his final years.
