IcyTheFuture Records presents the second edition of ICY IGLOO – Jazz and Hip Hop mini festival in collaboration with Aarhus Jazz Festival 2024.

ICY IGLOO is focused on connecting local and international artists presenting jazz and hip hop scenes under one roof.

Berlin-based singer and producer, Leona Berlin, mesmerizes with her atmospherically dense alternative R'n'B. Rooted in hip hop and soul, she effortlessly blends genres, crafting a unique sound universe of passionate melodies and groovy dance tracks.Leona's authentic lyrics resonate with many, as she aims for depth and honesty in an era dominated by social media.Writing and producing her songs, she's supported by her close-knit team. Her debut album "Leona Berlin" (Warner Music, 2018) was followed by singles like "Wrong Lane" feat. Snoop Dogg and "High Life" feat. Sedric Perry.

Collaborating with international artists like Ray Angry, Casey Benjamin, Gregory Hutchinson, and Karriem Riggins, she continues to soar. Her latest album "Change" (Nov 2021) featuring NYC rapper Stimulus and LA-based keyboardist Rob Araujo earned praise, making it to the "German Record Critics' Award" (PdSK) bestlist 1 / 2022.Leona’s third studio album is underway, with the first single „WHO?“ released in October, followed by more singles in the coming months.Leona has graced various stages and festivals, including Women of the World Festival, TEDx, and Xjazz Festival. Supporting acts like Al Jarreau, PJ Morton, and Lisa Stansfield, she leaves a lasting impression on her audiences.
