Der er jazz for børn og barnlige sjæle flere steder i løbet af jazzugen.
Aarhus Jazz Festival has something for ears of every age. That includes activities beyond sitting still and listening. There are plenty of opportunities to sing, dance, and actively participate in the jazz fun.
Atlas features children’s jazz during most of the week. Haletudserne kick off (July 11, 2 PM), followed by Brumbasserne (July 12, 10.30 AM), Mek Pek’s Åh Abe Trio (July 14, 2 PM), Takt & Tone with Benjamin & Lone (July 16, 2 PM), and Æsken (July 17, 10.30 AM).
Moussa Diallo plays and tells stories and adventures from Mali. This will take place at Information Vest - E&P Huset (July 12, 2.30 PM). Gellerupscenen/Gellerup Art Factory host Familiefortællinger, which features Danish and Arabic folk tales accompanied by music (July 12, 4 PM).
Or swing by the great children’s jazz finale at Ridehuset (July 7, 11 AM) with Hej Jazz. The band was nominated for children’s jazz band of the year at DMA 2020 and promises a blast of a jazz music performance for kids and their families.
