International star power graces Aarhus from abroad

Aarhus Jazz Festival 2025 will once again feature a number of prominent international guests

Among the big names is Norah Jones, who will take to the stage at Musikhuset on July 11. The American superstar is currently promoting her album Visions, which has just won a Grammy for Best Traditional Pop Vocal Album.

On The day before, July 10, you can experience American Marcus Miller and Aarhus Jazz Orchestra at this year's Jazzgalla. The legendary bassist is known for his powerful jazz-funk and his collaborations with greats such as Miles Davis, Herbie Hancock, and Aretha Franklin. Together with the big band Aarhus Jazz Orchestra, he guarantees a gala evening of international caliber in the great hall of Musikhuset.

The festival will also feature French-American singer Madeleine Peyroux, British vocalist Jo Harrop, guitarist Robben Ford (USA), bossa nova singer Rosalia de Souza (Brazil), and violist Mat Maneri (USA), known for his work with avant-garde jazz.

With its many concerts throughout the city, the 2025 edition of Aarhus Jazz Festival will once again turn Aarhus into a global jazz hub for a whole week
