As the shows of Aarhus Jazz Festival come to an end in the late evenings, the open jazz games begin.
Aarhus Jazz Festival’s Late Night (European) Jazz Jams take place every night at HeadQuarters from Saturday 15 July to Thursday 20 July and in the food tent South African Market Place on Officerspladsen at Ridehuset Friday 21 July and Saturday 22 July. Some of the city’s top musicians take turns hosting the jams.
Jazz & Venner hosts Jazz & Venner Jam on five nights during the week. Wednesday 19 July, Phonognom hosts Improkalas at Udstillingsstedet Spanien 19C and Funky Midnight Jazz Jam takes place Thursday 20 July on Officerspladsen by Ridehuset, led by Soul Glo.
All jam sessions are free of charge.
