For the fourth year in a row, Aarhus Jazz Festival hosts the concert series New Directions in collaboration with AUT Aarhus Unge Tonekunstnere and Århus Sinfonietta.

Experience Niels Præstholm & Art Ensemble Syd at Hotel Carmel on Wednesday 19 July, as well as Århus Sinfonietta, who present a musical agenda from the intersection of jazz and classical music.

In Dansestudiet Aarhus, Zvov Sensory delivers a unique concert experience involving the audiences’ sense of smell and taste buds on par with their hearing on Thursday 20 July. The concert is hosted by AUT, who will show the short film Spot On about composer Jeppe Ernst in Øst for Paradis Saturday 15 July.

The mini festival The House is a new addition to this year’s jazz festival and takes place in Spanien 19B from Wednesday 19 July to Friday 21 July with a lineup of classical and improv musicians. Experience Taïga String Quartet, Nikolaj Hess, I Think You’re Awesome, and Rummenes Ekko.
