Brazilian star kicks off jazz party at Musikhuset

True to tradition, everybody is invited to the Jazz Gala in Musikhuset Aarhus during the Aarhus Jazz Festival. This year you can experience one of the biggest living jazz stars when Brazilian Eliane Elias gives a unique concert with the Aarhus Jazz Orchestra.

It is always a very special experience when the superb Aarhus Jazz Orchestra takes the stage together with international stars during the annual jazz festival. Eliane Elias is known for her very special way of combining jazz and bossanova based on her Brazilian roots. And for this year's Jazz Gala, the Aarhus Jazz Orchestra and Eliane Elias take a musical journey through her large back catalog.

With her on stage are bassist Marc Johnsson and the always charismatic conductor Nikolai Bøgelund. Jazz gala in Musikhuset during Aarhus Jazz Festival is every year a completely unique experience with a large jazz orchestra and international stars who visit Aarhus. Previously, Caro Emerald, Melody Gardot, Jamie Cullum and David Sanborn have given concerts with the Aarhus Jazz Orchestra.
