Groundbreaking trumpet player backed by one of the best rhythm groups on the Nordic jazz scene. Tim Hagans is considered one of the most important trumpet players since the icon Miles David passed away in the early 90's. His style is virile, exuberant, and characterised by a rare type of original creativity. For many years, Hagans has been associated with the renowned record label Blue Note, where he has released some groundbreaking CDs with a mix of hard bop and electronica. In this constellation, Hagans teams up with three of the Nordic jazz scene's busiest and most coveted rhythm groups. Winther / Åman / Mogensen are considered one of the most seasoned rhythm groups and have toured most of the world, where they've accompanied musicians such as David Liebman, Jerry Bergonzi, Jim Snidero and Dick Oatts. Additionally, they've released several CDs, most recently Deconstructing Mr X (Steeplechase).
