Minimalism that leaves room for the individual musician. Malte Dueholm Trio performs minimalist compositions written by Malte Dueholm, who sets out to write the bare minimum of music, leaving an open space for the musicians to flourish. The music is a combination of uncompromising avant-garde, American jazz, and Danish psalms. The aesthetics are calm and beautiful, but not dogmatic. Malte's primary musical source of inspiration is Jakob Bro, who has mentored him. Malte brings along two Aarhus-based musicians: the coveted double bass player Adrian Christensen and the rising talent Sara Mouritzen on the drums.
