30-year blues anniversary with quality and power. The blues and rock band Trouble Cats are in top shape with the album Live In Aarhus 2017 at kick off their anniversary year together with their audiences. Trouble Cats are living proof that cats have many lives. The band celebrates 30 years together in 2017, and in many ways, their chemistry and band spirit is the same as when they started. Maybe with a bit more experience, quality and power. After 30 years, Trouble Cats are still the same as always: a band with a signature expression and a love for their blues roots and simple rock'n'roll. Trouble cats were formed in 1987 when the blues boom was in full swing and Fatter Eskil in Aarhus was their preferred location. The following years, Trouble Cats became on of the most sought after acts, along with the likes of Ole Frimer Band, Shades of Blue, and Kent Thomsen & The Rich Ones, that emerged from the Aarhus blues scene. The band got busy quick, and for the next few years, the band would play roughly 80-100 concerts a year both in Denmark and abroad as well as release several albums. In the 90s and 00s, Trouble Cats performed in various line-ups, but the original group was reunited in 2013. In 2016, a new drummer was added. In 2017, Trouble Cats are ready to do what they're best at: playing for a live audience.
