Organic, complete, and original. Kasper Staub Trio released their debut album ' / ' in 2012, which was called 'one of the year's best debut records' by the magazine Jazz Special. In 2014, the follow-up Havnepladen was released, which was called 'unbelievably organic and complete' and 'a bold statement from a trio that has already found its own sound'. Their music has been compared to the meekness of Carl Nielsen, the folklore of Jan Johan, and the free jazz of Paul Bleysk. However, the music remains unique. In 2017, Kasper Staub Trio is back in the studio and expect to release their third album later this year.
