A musical tribute to a flamenco guitar master. Flamenco guitarist Paco de Lucia has inspired and influenced many jazz greats from Chick Corea to George Benson. In connection the poetic 2016 documentary Paco de Lucia – Flamencoens Mester, Poul Jareck Knudsen has assembled a strong Danish group for playing a tribute concert with a mix of Paco de Lucia's tunes such as 'Zyryab', 'Entre dos aguas', and 'Almoraima', as well as some original material. Paco de Lucia played with a terrific harmonica player, Antonio Serrano, in his final band. In order to achieve the best possible sound for the project, Poul Jareck Knudsen allied himself with the Danish harmonica phenomenon Mathias Heise, recipient of the 2017 Ben Webster Award.
