Ung Jazz finalist with a trio – first performance at Aarhus Jazz Festival. Claudia Campagnol receives plenty of praise and kind word words for her concerts, whether it's in London, at the jazz house Montmartre, The Standard, or other clubs. This year in April, she also reached the finals of Ung Jazz 2017, which was well deserved. Claudia Campagnol (formerly known as Claudia Dancs) was born in Budapest and comes from a Roma family where most of her relatives were or still are musicians. Claudia could sing before she could talk. At the age of four, she already wanted to become a musician and preferred to learn how to play various instruments on her own. She grew up in Sweden and attended Musikhögskolan in Malmö but currently lives in Copenhagen with her Swedish-Italian husband, drummer Niclas Campagnol, who graduated from the Rhythmic Music Conservatory. Like Claudia Campagnol, Niclas Campagnol is well on his way to an international career and was invited to New York in 2017 where he played with George Garzone, Jerry Bergonzi, Chris Cheek, Kenny Werner, and others.
