Duo collaboration with world-class guitarist

Here we have a unique show with Larry Koonse and Peter Vuust, who will be performing together for the first time.

American Larry Koonse is a world-class guitarist. He is a permanent member of the Grammy-nominated Peter Erskine Band, been featured on over 300 records, and toured with jazz greats such as Mel Torme, Bob Brookmeyer, and Natalie Cole. In Denmark, he has performed with Sinne Eeg (voc) and Martin Schack (piano).

Peter Vuust is a professor at Aarhus University and the Royal Academy of Music, Aarhus / Aalborg, leader of the Center for Music in the Brain, and is also one of the nation's busiest sidemen. He has been featured on more than 90 records with international jazz stars such as Tim Hagans, Mal Waldron, Ted Curson, and Jukkis Uotila. Peter Vuust is known for his groovy and attentive backing as well as his melodic solos. As a composer and bass player, he has released six albums, most recently Leaves of Love with Veronica Mortensen (voc), Lars Jansson (p), and Peter Asplund (trp).
