One of the strongest female voices on the Scandinavian jazz scene
Since the release of the breakthrough record Waiting for Dawn, Sinne Eeg has reaped acclaim at home with four Danish Music Awards (2007, 2010, 2014, and 2015), Danish Radio Jazz Award 2009, Ben Webster Award 2014, and the prestigious Academie du Jazz in 2015.
Apart from four solo albums, she has toured and been featured on records with DR Big Band. She brings three of Denmark's most prominent jazz musicians to ARoS: Nikolaj Hess (piano), Peter Vuust (bass), and Morten Lund (drums). Together, they reinterpret tunes from the standard repertoire of jazz and deliver a swinging and moving experience to their audiences.
