Four strong individuals in a unique collaboration

The Morrocan guembris player and vocalist Majid Bekkas performs with two of Sweden's most renowned musicians Goran Kajfeš and Jesper Nordenström, as well as the Danish jazz giant Stefan Pasborg.

In addition to mastering the guembri, Majid Bekkas is also classically trained and is a professor at the music academy in the Moroccan capital Rabat.

The music of trumpet player Goran Kajfeš is inspired by many different genres from Africa and the Middle East, as well as bits of futuristic jazz and classical minimalism. His double album X / Y was named jazz album of the year by The Independent.
