Scandinavian jazz attitude meets American tradition

In the fall of 2016, the band was in The Village to record their debut album, which will be released in the summer of 2018.

The album consists of Live Foyn Friis' compositions, which border on modern jazz and indie pop, as well as some lovely and unique covers of good old jazz classics.

The result is a quiet and melancholic album with plenty of ballads where the Scandivanian jazz attitude meets American tradition.

Live Foyn Friis is a Norwegian singer who has lived and studied in Denmark for several years. She has released four albums as a solo artist, has been nominated for several Danish music awards, and has been awarded titles such as Denmark's new jazz star and Young Jazz Composer of the Year.

For this occasion, she has gathered a group of inspiring Danish musicians and looks forward to performing with this all-star team.
