African songs and beats for kids

Africaba means 'child of Africa' and refers to the trio's strong ties to the West African country Ghana.

Samuel Kweku Addison was born and raised in Ghana. Throughout his adult life, music and dance have brought him around the world and gave him with inspiration for writing songs.

The trio's remaining musicians grew up in Denmark but have fallen in love with Ghana and the country's rich musical culture through numerous travels.

The concert centres on Ghanesian storytelling tradition, where audiences are involved in the stories through songs, claps, gestures, and movement.

The lively Ghanesian dance beats lay the groundwork for the trio's memorable songs, which tell humouristic stories about general themes such as friendship. justice, and the irony of fate.
