Jens Jefsen is a jazz bass player who has been living in Aarhus since 1969. He is renowned for his lyrical and attentive style, which always captures the music of the moment. He is a seasoned veteran of Vallekilde Folk High School and used to work as a temporary teacher at the rhythmical department of the Royal Academy of Music, Aarhus / Aalborg. Jens Jefsen has performed with numerous American soloists throughout the 70s and 80s and has been part of several trendsetting Danish bands.
Jesper Løvdal is a tenor saxophonist and a composer. He also plays the C melody, soprano, alto, and baritone saxophone, as well as the flute, clarinet, and alto and bass clarinet Jesper Løvdal finished his studies at the Rhythmic Music Conservatory in Copenhagen in 2001 with a musician's diploma. He also has a BA in musical science and humanistic informatics from the University of Copenhagen (1993) and studied at the New School of Jazz and Contemporary Music in New York.
