New life for old songs

The Nordklang Duo consists of two 22-year-old musicians who, through an atmospheric and intimate sound, explore the Nordic notes and mix the melancholy of folk music with the spirit of community singing and the nuanced harmonies of jazz.

Both musicians are rooted in Danish folk high school song and through new interpretations of the classic songbook, they give new life to the old songs and let tradition and renewal go hand in hand.

The duo also explores the Swedish tradition in the form of both folk songs and jazz of newer and older dates, and mixed with Danish songs, Nordklang Duo creates both a complete and multi-faceted Nordic expression.
