An evening dedicated to jazz

Spiselauget at Godsbanen opens its doors to an evening dedicated to jazz with the New Orleans buffet including a glass of bubbly from 6.00 pm and a concert from 8.30 - 11.00 pm with the charismatic singer Miriam Mandipira & Klüvers Kvintet.

The buffet consists of: Goujons & cajun style remoulade, Fried Chicken, BBQ & celery, Jambalaya, shrimp, okra & andouille, Bourbon & pepper glazed culotte, grilled small vegetables & gravy sauce, summer cabbage, Caesar, croutons & Arla kry, warm bean salad, dirty dice, BBQ sauce, various dip & pepper sauce and lemon meringue pie.

Modern acute jazz with a charismatic front singer
The singer Miriam Mandipira has worked with Jens Klüver in various constellations for 12 years. There have been concerts both with Klüvers Big Band, small groups and other big bands.

Miriam Mandipira, who comes from Zimbabwe, is a great addition to the Danish jazz scene. She captivates her audiences with her big voice and personal expression.

In 2016, she won Best Blues Artist Award during the Copenhagen Blues Festival. Recently, Miriam Mandipira performed in Aarhus at the concert with Klüvers Big Band Dream Team on February 24, 2019, in the foyer of Musikhustet, and now the opportunity is here again.

The quintet plays modern acoustic jazz and is looking forward to presenting the more jazzy side of Miriam Mandipira this evening.
