Sille & Palle – Børnejazz (DK)
A playful children's concert with rock and roll, clapping and playing, singing and dancing
There is something for both the ears and the body when this experienced duo plays music for children and accompanying adults.
At Sille and Pallet shows, the very young citizens of the world participate in a playful children's concert, where the music consists of old classics from the Danish children's songbook, which everyone can sing along to, their own compositions and melodies that arise completely spontaneously along the way.
One can expect swinging guitar strings, gypsy jazz, scat song and engaging Brazilian dance rhythms.
Sille Grønberg & Palle Windfeldt have been together for 25 years and are two of the country's most experienced musicians in concerts and CDs for children with approx. 130 concerts annually in Denmark and abroad.
The couple was part of the children's jazz band Djanzz and made the music for the Ramasjang programme Rosa fra Rouladegade. They have also developed a classic children's concert in collaboration with the Opera.
The duo has previously visited the Aarhus Jazz Festival, where they received the following comment from an enthusiastic JazzLive reviewer:
"From the very first moment, they held the big crowd of children and adults in the cup of their hand and played their way through a riveting show that never lost its breath".
Shine your dancing shoes and drop by Bispetorvet for a festive and enjoyable child-friendly concert.
