Christian Windfeld – Rotunda Live (DK)
A unique and evocative sound experience for early risers
As part of AUT's Liéux project for site-specific sound art, we present Christian Windfeld's Rotunda project.
The music has been created especially for the Rotunda in Mindeparken, which is a memorial for fallen Danish soldiers in the First World War.
The snare drum, which is the most widely used instrument in military contexts, is used to create a sound experience where both instrument and place transcend into something greater.
The early stage of the concert helps to mark a special event, where the day is still magical and the audible sensitivity is still quite sharp.
After the concert, AUT provides a light morning refreshment. For those who are interested, a group will meet and walk to the show from the square in front of Skt. Paul's Church at. 5.40 am.
Don't miss this unique experience.
