The Mr New Orleans of Copenhagen leads the jam
Saxophonist Johan Bylling Lang is Mr New Orleans in Copenhagen and leads bands such as the Jazz Five and the Tuesday Night Brass Band.
In addition, he is the man behind the New Orleans culture festival Fringe Jazz Fest, which takes place during the Copenhagen Jazz Festival at Pumpehuset.
He has released four solo albums, most recently in 2019 with A Little New Orleans Never Hurt Anybody Vol. 2 feat. Sasha Masakowski from New Orleans and toured most of the world with Jazz Five, D / Troit, Babylove & the van Dangos and other projects.
