The sound is modern and festive, based on the infamous bobo-music. The music is often associated with the more seedy sides of the local nightlife, but once the body moves to the funky guitar riffs, the groovy drums and the wild balaphone, it is not hard to see why the bobo music these years provides the soundtrack to more and more youth parties in Mali.
