Confrontations and Conversations (DK/FR/SLO)
Impressions from the jazz festival turn into audio and video art
Confrontations and Conversations is a documentary art project in which a group of artists enter into dialogue with people in Aarhus for five days.
By interviewing people and gathering impressions from life on the street during the Aarhus Jazz Festival, the artists will create audio and video works to be exhibited on an ongoing basis at the USE Academy.
Every afternoon, there will be the opportunity to come by and see some of the creations from the day, both in the form of installations, compositions and songs,
Follow www.aut.dk to see exactly what is going on during the week. On the final night, the accumulated material is collected for a performance with a narrative created from the week's encounters and processes - see separate event.
