Beautiful, violent, heartfelt, furious and quiet ...

AIO arose in 2014 as a large band and had a successful performance at Vinterjazz in 2015. Since then, the group has experimented with smaller ensembles but have also performed in a large formation whenever possible.

At this year's jazz festival, AIO performs as a septet and continues to work with music that balances free play, controlled improvised parts and written music.

The musicians will play beautifully, violently, fervently, aggressively, furiously, quietly and full throttle.

The members reside in the Aarhus jazz scene, especially the more improvisational parts, and play across generations and groupings on the scene.
