Upbeat samba – relaxed Bossanova

In recent years, Karmen Rõivassepp has left her unmistakable mark on the Danish jazz scene and has just won the Aarhus Jazz Talent Prisen-award 2018.

Karmen Rõivassepp is originally from Estonia but has lived in Aarhus in recent years and studied at the Royal Academy of Music, Aarhus / Aalborg.

This concert will offer uplifting and cheerful songs inspired by the happy rhythms of the samba and the more laid-back notes inspired by the evocative Bossanova.

The band has been specially formed for the occasion and consists of musicians from Aarhus Jazz Orchestra.
