Arrive ready to sweat – We are going to move those feets

A night of funky music, blues and original songs along with a true New Orleanian: Gregory Boyd, singer and instrumentalist. 

To help make this night of Southern music swing real nice, we got guitarist Simon Troelsgaard and bassist Thorbjørn Stefansson.

Gregory Boyd is a vocalist, songwriter and master steelpannist, born in the USA and raised in Detroit, Michigan and New Orleans, Louisiana.

Gregory Boyd pushes boundaries with his own brand of personal music experience, which is textured electric steelpan textured and layered vocals steeped in the traditions of American blues, rock, funk and jazz.

Simon Troelsgaard is an accomplished Danish guitarist and sideman and founding member of the Alternative rock outfit Duné. He is now performing as soloist and touring sideman with Denmark's Thomas Buttenschøn.

Thorbjørn Stefanson grew up in Aarhus and has been a big part of the Aarhus jazz scene for a long time. When improvised music had another resurgence in Aarhus, Thorbjørn Stefanson became a part of the Aarhus jam scene in 2017. He has studied jazz in Sweden at Skurups Folkhögskola. His time there laid the foundation for his strong love for swing and tradition, which is clearly reflected in his play.
