Exploring the Great American Songbook

Jazz guitarist Morten Haugshøj brings two great musicians to this concert at VinDanmark in the form of the exceptional rhythm group from the wonderful band I Think You're Awesome.

We are talking about the bandleader Jens Mikkel Madsen on double bass and drummer Andreas Skamby.

This concert, however, will not focus on original tunes, but rather on known and lesser-known standards from the American songbook.

The three musicians explore the trio format with plenty of room for almost anything to happen. The concert will be performed in a playful and intense atmosphere where the musicians test their discipline for listening to each other.
