Trio jazz rooted in American and Nordic tradition

Ingvarsson / Huber / Stefansson is a trio version of bassist Thorbjørn Stefansson's Quartet.

The trio plays songs written by Thorbjørn Stefansson as well as select songs from the standard repertoire. The compositions are well arranged, with roots in both American and Nordic jazz tradition.

The music will be played with an openness that lets each member of the band express themselves while staying focused on the moment and the musical dialogue.

The three members of the trio met at Skurups Folkhögskola in Sweden and have played together ever since.
