Fusion and funk inspired by John Scofield
The talented young musicians in this quartet, led by Markus Hvelplund on guitar, are set to deliver some fusion jazz and funk tunes.
One of the group's great sources of inspiration is the legendary jazz guitarist John Scofield and most of the band's repertoire consists of his work.
Hvelplund Kvartet is a relatively new group, but they have attached great importance to playing close to the originals right from the start, while at the same time complementing them with their own personal expression.
