Jazz mixed with Persian rhythm and lyricism

The band was formed in 2018 and plays Camilla Dayyani's compositions. The music is rooted in modern jazz with relevant lyrics that clearly shine through with vocals.

The heat of the moment takes center stage as the four musicians approach the music with open minds and ears, ready to go along with whatever comes up.

For this concert, the music will be centered around Persian lyricism as well as jazz blended with Persian rhythms and scales. The compositions leave sufficient space for improvised and free parts.

The young pianist Artur Tuznik from Poland is an equilibrist on his instrument who beautifully juggling harmonies. Fredrik Lundin is capable of balancing edgy and crooked with elegance and melody in his style. Thomas Sejthen temporarily joins the group on bass for the show. He is a seasoned Aarhus-based bass player known from Indra and Uffe Steen Trio.

Camilla Dayyani is a singer who can draw the audience's attention to the lyrical universe with her warm and effortless vocal abilities. She sings and recites in Danish, English, and Persian.
