With this trio, Thomas Sejthen steps onto the Danish jazz and proves that he is just as competent as a soloist and composer as he is as a sideman.

Through his inventive and melodic tunes, which draw on the weird universe of Thelonious Monk, the band presents an elegant ensemble between Sejthen's solid bass lines, Mads Ole Rode's rambling tenor sax, and Jesper Bo Knudsen's discrete and tasteful drumming in a musical space that centers around the minimalist expression.

For this concert, the trio is joined by Jakob Buchanan, who has made a good impression on the international jazz scene in collaborations with the likes of Jakob Bro, Marilyn Mazur, and Helge Norbakken.
