A celebration of sisterhood in the groove 1 + 1 = 3 

Blonde Bass is one part bass ensemble and one part vocal ensemble consisting of three lovely musicians who play bass and sing.

The songs are performed as a musical symphony between Ida Hvid, Kristin Korb, and Helle Marstrand. Without drawing attention to themselves, they subtly switch roles between melody voice, percussion, harmonies, and bass.

The three-part vocal arrangements add an extra layer and provide a combination of fullness, depth, focus, balance, harmony, and finesse to the music.

Blonde Bass performs a mix of swing standards, funky original tunes, and a cappella ballads as a tribute to their bass heroes Ray Brown, NHØP, Hugo Rasmussen, and other - delivered in an eclectic sound adventure unlike any other.
