Bladt meets Brecker

That is the title of this concert for Sommerjazz 2020, where you can experience  Danish Youth Jazz Orchestra and Michael Bladt grapple with the music of one of the great saxophone legends, Michael Brecker.

Saxophonist Michael Bladt has been withe Aarhus Jazz Orchestra (formerly Klüver's Big Band) for more than 20 years and also has his own quintet, which has released three albums.

Michael Bladt has performed and recorded with numerous talented musicians and bands, including the DR Big Band, DR Entertainment Orchestra, The Orchestra, Jørgen Emborg's Surrounding Moods, John Scofield, Kurt Elling, and Lukas Graham.

In addition to being a performer, Michael Bladt teaches at MGK in Aarhus, and several of his talented students play in the Danish Youth Jazz Orchestra.
