Four top musicians play favorite standards

Sommerjazz sets off with a bang of a concert with the band Joaniquet / Ramsbøll / Riddell / Haugshøj.

Spanish saxophonist Cesar Joaniquet is one of the best saxophonists in Denmark, and his beautiful, sublime lines are on an international level.

An international level that also applies to bassist Morten Ramsbøl. He resides at the renowned Universität für Musik und Drarstellende Kunst in Graz in Austria and holds the title as professor of double bass.

John Riddell is one of the most talented jazz drummers on the contemporary jazz scene and is known from Aarhus Jazz Orchestra and others.

Morten Haugshøj has released several acclaimed records and is one of the leading Danish jazz guitarists due to his nerve that is rooted in energy and vitality.

The concert will feature good music with the group's favorite standards as the musical framework.
