A little new – a little old – a little borrowed

With an excellent team of some of the country's best jazz musicians, jazz guitarist Morten Haugshøj released the critically acclaimed album The Street Doctor in 2018.

Now, new music is on the way, and at this concert, both new and old original material will be played, though he will focus primarily on covers of good jazz standards.

The format is a trio with a sublime rhythm group in the form of drummer Daniel Sommer and the wonderful bassist Frederik Sakham.

Morten Haugshøj has recorded four albums with different groups. He has a distinctive melodic compositional style and his musical style is characterized by his great and prevalent energy.
