Good tunes and catchy improvisations

For this concert, you can expect good tunes and catchy improvisations from four excellent musicians who will perform in a new and exciting collaboration.

Kasper Tranberg has for many years established himself as one of the foremost jazz trumpeters and improvisers in the country. He has played with everyone imaginable at home and abroad, including Hugo Rasmussen, Yousef Lateef, Savage Rose, and Zirkus Nemo's house band, and in 2019, he received the Ben Webster-prisen Award.

In the rhythm group, we find guitarist Gorm Askjær, who recently released Blodmånen Og dig with his trio, which has been the Album of the Week on P8 Jazz.

The solid foundation is laid by bassist Jens Mikkel Madsen, who is known from groups such as I Think You Awesome and Kasper Staub Trio – and with sticks in hand, we find the versatile drummer Johannes Berg.
