20-year anniversary of PLAY!GROUND LIVE
PLAY!GROUND LIVE consists of young talent from all over Denmark, selected by Bo Stief.
For the past 20 years, Bo Stief has been an enthusiastic conductor, composer, and source of inspiration for 12 young musicians from all over Denmark. Each year, new talent is added.
The rising stars can experience life on the road with a short, intense trial run and concerts at venues, schools, and high schools, as well as at Aarhus and Copenhagen Jazz Festival.
Luckily, Aarhus Jazz Festival will be featuring PLAY!GROUND LIVE on stage again, especially this year. To mark the occasion of the 20-year anniversary, a special group – a good blend of new and old musicians who have been part of the project over the years – will take the stage. In addition, their conductor, composer and source of inspiration, Bo Stief, will be celebrating his 75th birthday.
