Funk, croon, and groovy boogie piano
The rhythm group heats up the funk kettles with second-line street beats and funky feels, while serving up an extremely spicy gumbo. Mix this with "croonsome" vocals and sweat-dripping boogie piano, and you'll get the idea.
The young Aarhus-based singer and pianist Emil Otto, known groups such as Gumbo Ya-Ya! and The Vooo Ca Ray, has now assembled his own NOLA quartet with musicians who have been with him right from the start.
The inspiration for the quartet's sound comes from musicians such as Harry Connick Jr., Jon Cleary, and Dr. John.
