An informal and melodic rendition of classic jazz

On Saturday, Søren Bruun and Andreas Gad will add to the summer jazz vibes by showcasing their work in making two saxophones enchant the room in which they perform.

They are heavily inspired by saxophonists Desmond & Mulligan's amazing ensemble playing from the early 60s. This ensemble style allows them to interpret a classic jazz repertoire in an informal and melodic way.

The two musicians have been trying out this constellation in many places in Aarhus over the past few years, including alternative indoor and outdoor spaces.

Søren Bruun and Andreas Gad have been playing live for more than thirty years, together and in other constellations, and they are very much looking forward to creating a pleasant jazz afternoon at fairbar.
