Gems from the vault of music history

Drummer Ulrik Bisgaard is the conductor and driving force behind this versatile and seasoned trio. In addition to Ulrik, there are two young stars and great talents: Lukas Loeb on double bass and Frederik Vuust on piano. This evening the trio is extended, featurening the saxophonists Ólafur Jónsson and Christian Vuust.  

Guided by the principle of enjoyment, the trio moves freely and imaginatively between respectful renditions of classics and curious explorations of new musical terrain.

Drawing on pop, bebop, and avant-garde, the musicians offer their own personal, experimental and refreshing take on what jazz might sound like in 2022.

The repertoire is composed of the musicians' favorite tunes from the vault of music history.
