Accessible, melodic, and modern jazz

Jacob D's Tukaan is a band that was formed during the COVID-19 pandemic.

Tukaan stems from composer Jacob Danielsen's desire to write some immediately accessible music within a modern, melodic jazz idiom. All the tracks are based on common stories from modern life and take the listener on adventures and inner journeys.

In addition to the bandleader, the band consists of some of the hottest upcoming jazz stars on the Aarhus jazz scene. Talents that no one should deprive themselves of experiencing.

Tukaan's debut album is just around the corner, and if all goes well, it will be available for purchase at the concert.
